Cluny

The Cluny Team were split up and sent on a wilddd adventure around the Fife country side, hunting for clue, taking pictures to beat the next team and collecting random objects. After some near crashes due to excitement of winning, walking through the countryside in white wegdes and nearly booking a group party meal at the Glenrothes Golf club, we all made it back to Cluny in one piece. Well lets say Laura wasnt quite the same when she got back…thanks to the wakey races by Kirsty T.

We all had an amazing time and will hope to do it again soon. Maybe next time Laura, Callum, Liz and Kirsty will actually follow their clues in the right order…Thanks Drew!

Hey everyone! What a quiet weekend we have had here at Cluny! Apart from the F.I.T.A.S.C shooting competition we had on Sunday it has been really quiet (were thinking due to the glorious weather we have had! Haha!) Although the adventure area was busy with you youngsters on saturday even though it was terrible rain.

We have been busy setting up a new Facebook and Twitter account this week. Search for our divisions on Facebook, we have the groups ‘Cluny Kids’ ‘Cluny Golf’ and ‘Cluny Events’ so far, so get clicking ‘like’ on our pages! Also we will have regular updates of photo’s and information of what we have going on every week and everyday.

This week was our first week of this years summer camp, it went extremely well and the photo’s are on the Cluny Kids facebook page, also check the golf one for all up and coming golf competitions and info.

Heather’s first night of her Salsa class was last night (wed 22nd June) and went really well! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and a will be back next week. So get yourself along and join in with the latin atmosphere.

Last week Rexroth Ltd. joined us on Sunday 5th June for a day of activities and a yummy barbeque. It was to celebrate there 125th anniversary, they decided to do something different and exciting… (pity the weather wasn’t as good as the week before.)

The staff and their families were treated to this day out so as well as adults, we had kids up here too!
The kids all had a fantastic time running wild in the adventure area and having their faces painted… although I noticed the adults loved having this done too! The two ladies doing the face painting were brilliant!

We would like to say well done to everyone who took part and hope you all had a wonderful day and hope to see you all again soon!!

We have a new addition to Cluny… a family of swan’s!

Recently the swan’s which live in our pond on the golf course have made a nest.
Due to constant play on the course the swan’s have been getting riled up when golfers are hitting their shot. We have built a fence around the nesting area to keep them at peace and out of harm.
All we can do is to advise everyone to be careful when on the 7th tee.

Our come and try air rifle shooting went really well yesterday. Fiona was instructing them, they all has a fantastic time. Just as everyone was finished the session, the photographers from the courier made an appearance and took some photo’s of the event.

Fiona celebrated the new year by taking part in the Loony Dook in South Queensferry on 1st January, crazy or what!?

Well what looked like a small snow shower over the weekend turned into one of the biggest snow storms we have seen in years. To be honest everyone is sick of the sight of it by now and its not even been a week yet. Oh well, that didn’t stop Eddy and Rebecca Reekie who along with their mum and dad came to Cluny on sunday for a lovely, warm lunch. While they ran outside to play and build a great, big snowman. The Cluny team thought it was that good we just has to ask if we could take a photo for the web. So here they are, happy with the outcome but were guessing they must have been freeeeeeeeeezing!!!

This years Halloween Party was a brilliant success! There were smiling faces all round, bellies filled with yummy goodies and an evening packed with fun and exciting party games. The children arrived dressed to occasion, we had witches and wizards, pumpkins and skeletons. Everyone put a great amount of effort in (EVEN Lauren and Kirsty) which made the atmosphere even spoookier. The kids played musical zombie, mystery mucky lucky dip, dunking of apples and much much more. Everyone had lots of fun and im sure next years halloween party will be just as good if not better!
